Advanced Info Service (AIS) is targeting strong growth of its fixed broadband business in the second half of this year, driven by English Premier League (EPL) content through pub-bar events and its network capability.

The target is in line with AIS's strategy in the second half under the concept "Boosting your brighter future - connecting, enabling, and enriching fixed broadband customers".

The AIS 3BB FIBRE3 service reinforces the company's commitment to supporting businesses, entrepreneurs and both public and private sectors -- driving strong, sustainable growth for Thailand's digital economy, said Yordchai Asawathongchai, head of commercial broadband business at AIS.

He said the AIS 3BB FIBRE3 service remains the No.1 fixed broadband network in Thailand, with over 5 million users across all 77 provinces.

He said the company has seen a growth opportunity as the broadband industry still has significant growth potential, with current household penetration at just 36.8% from the total 29 million households in the country.

He declined to elaborate regarding the subscriber growth target, saying the revenue growth for fixed broadband business this year should not be lower than that of 2024.

Jasmine International Public Co Ltd is the exclusive rights holder for live broadcasts of the EPL and FA Cup in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia from 2025/26. It has partnered with AIS to bring the world's most popular football league content directly to Thai football fans.

Mr Yordchai said AIS 3BB FIBRE3 is driving its broadband business forward through three core strategies: connecting, creating opportunities and delivering happiness.

The AIS EPL package for pub, bar and restaurants begins at 2,800 baht per month.

Starting from 699 baht a month, customers receive free insurance coverage from MSIG, including protection against natural disasters up to 500,000 baht, burglary coverage for residential properties up to 100,000 baht, personal belongings and firefighting expense compensation up to 50,000 baht each and 24-hour emergency home assistance available once a year.
