Monoposto maestro George Line is up to second place in the Ryan Motorsport Insurance Best for youNational Rankings after bagging another hat-trick at Thruxton last weekend.

The Dallara F308 driver occupied his familiar position at the head of the single-seater series as the machines stretched their legs around the Hampshire speedbowl, taking his 2025 tally to 10 victories.

Those triumphs have drawn Line to within two wins of table-topper Ali Bray and sent him climbing six spots up the leaderboard.

Another driver homing in on the rankings' summit is Midget & Sprite Challenge star Paul Sibley. The Midget pilot is another regular winner and also enjoyed an unbeaten weekend, taking two wins at Snetterton.

These latest successes have elevated him 17 places to fourth, although he is still two victories behind Line.

They are the only drivers to improve inside the top 10 this week, but there is a whole menagerie of movement further down the table. The next highest to gain is Simon Allaway, who enjoyed a strong event at Oulton Park.

His distinctive Lotus Esprit inherited pole when the top three CNC Heads Sports/Saloons qualifiers failed to start and duly converted that into what proved to be a double victory.

He therefore gains 21 places to move into 13th after taking his 2025 total to seven wins. Allaway is, in turn, three places ahead of two drivers that are tied on 16th place after enjoying more success.

TCR UK frontrunner Adam Shepherd was unstoppable at Oulton Park to triumph twice, jumping up from 40th, while Andy Hiley was also unbeaten in Sport Specials at Anglesey across three races to re-enter the top 50.

Alongside Sibley, Hugh Simpson also continued his strong Midget form in Norfolk and twice topped Class D to leap 28 places to 22nd.

Another driver to enjoy success at Anglesey was Daniel Garrett in Locost. He also scored three wins to move up from outside the top 50 last week and round out the top half of the table in 25th spot.

All car races in UK and Ireland are included except qualification/repechage, consolation and handicap races. No races in other countries.

Class wins are only counted when there are at least six starters in the class, except: when the race is part of a multi-stage event where six or more have taken part in earlier heats that feed into a semi-final or final; when multiple championships are merged in the same race, the ‘overall’ winner from the slower championship can count a class win as long as that championship has at least 10 starters across all classes.

Only classes divided by car characteristics are included, not those divided by driver characteristics such as ability, professional status, age, experience (for example rookie or pro-am classes). Each race counts only once, so an overall winner’s class win is not added.

Where there is a tie, overall wins take precedence. Where there is still a tie, average grid size for a driver’s wins determines the order.
