Zambia: Family and friends of nurse Inonge have been thrown into mourning after she was found dead in her house due to pregnancy-related eclampsia.

As soon as news of her death spread, her dad suspected foul play and went to his Facebook page to share about the alleged murder.

"My daughter has been murdered in Mwandi, Sesheke; if anyone has any information, please call the police," said Eban Jose Mwilima.

It later emerged that Inonge was not murdered but died as a result of pre-eclampsia, a pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure.

"In the process of delivering, she unfortunately lost her baby and passed away an hour later. Let us stop spreading falsehoods that she was murdered. Instead, let us pray for her family and support them during this difficult time. Most importantly, let us pray for her soul to rest in perfect peace," he said.
