Julian Quintart, a Belgian TV personality famous for his role on the show *‘Abnormal Summit’*, drew flak for publicly bashing a privately-owned café on social media, and subsequently issued an apology.

On the 22nd, Julian took to his Instagram and Threads accounts to share a photo of a drink cup from an exclusive café, where he publicly voiced his disapproval.

He questioned, "Isn't this more than just a double cup; isn't it a triple?" and continued, "What's the reason for this? It's an overabundance of packaging on top of more packaging." He then mentioned a company's official profile and urged, "I realize this isn't unique to this business. Would the management consider changing this practice?"

Julian has a history of caring about the environment and has been a strong supporter of getting people involved in ecological initiatives. He has also spoken out against coffee shops that use "double cups," which involves stacking two disposable cups together.

Online users who viewed Julian's post chimed in with comments backing his viewpoint, including remarks like, "This is environmental damage," "It looks like they're just flaunting the design," and "The store's name is likely the reason." A few even directly slammed the cafe.

The cafe's proprietor, Mr. A, addressed the situation by publishing his complaints on a popular internet forum. Mr. A stated, "A well-known TV personality brought up my name and criticized my cafe for using too much packaging on our cups. I would have preferred they reached out to me privately before publicly mentioning my business, but they made the post without any warning."

He clarified, "I create my own drinks with all-natural components. I use tiny ice beads to cool them down rapidly. Because they dissolve quickly, I've begun using insulated glasses to keep the taste consistent." He continued, "At first, I aimed to cut down on disposable containers, so I opted for resealable drink pouches. However, after encountering a number of problems, I changed to this approach."

Julian added, "Naturally, the harm is irreversible. Therefore, I suggested a few methods to make amends to the cafe proprietor for the damage inflicted. I reiterate my regret for miscommunicating my aims and causing distress, despite my aspiration to make a positive global impact."
