The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC organized a Customer Appreciation Breakfast event to honor its business clients and enhance connections with important partners.

The financial institution utilized the platform to showcase and reinforce its steadfast dedication to outstanding service and customer experience throughout all its interaction points.

The gathering also offered an opportunity to discuss the Bank's solid financial results, expansion plans, and upcoming goals, while interacting directly with clients to collect their views on their banking interactions and aspirations.

The morning meeting gathered corporate clients from different industries, such as agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, and the public sector, among others. The interactive session aimed to encourage open discussion about how ADB can keep offering effective, creative, and client-focused financial solutions that meet the changing requirements of its wide range of customers.

In his engaging comments, the Managing Director of ADB, Edward Ato Sarpong, conveyed deep gratitude to customers for their loyalty and ongoing collaboration, which he highlighted has played a key role in the Bank's sustainability throughout the last 60 years.

Mr. Sarpong also took the opportunity to reveal the Bank's new main strategies and operational efforts designed to reduce processing times or turnaround periods and promote superior service delivery. He noted that these key strategies and operational adjustments demonstrate ADB's renewed emphasis on speed, responsibility, and service quality as part of its overall transformation plan.

"Our clients continue to be the central focus of all our actions," Mr. Sarpong stated.

"The updated key strategies and operational adjustments reflect our dedication to provide quicker, more agile, and more dependable banking services. We are creating a bank that is prepared for the future, surpassing customer expectations," he added.

"This gathering will take place consistently as a primary method for collaborating with our clients, as part of the broader plan to shape future together," he added.

The ADB MD outlined several key aspects of the current performance, including a pre-tax profit of GH¢447.49 million in the third quarter of 2025, marking a 153.66% increase from GH¢176.41 million recorded in the same period in 2024. Total assets increased by 17%, moving from GH¢13.87 billion in September 2024 to GH¢16.22 billion as of September 2025, indicating ongoing expansion of the balance sheet fueled by strong growth in investment securities, deposits, and other areas.

He credited the impressive outcomes to careful financial handling, enhanced efficiency, and strategic investments in sectors that match the Bank's long-term goals. He further assured clients that the Bank is in a strong position to continue its growth path, provide increased value, and stay a reliable partner in advancing national progress.

Attendees at the gathering provided valuable input via a real-time customer feedback survey focusing on service enhancements, product development, and the implementation of new technologies, highlighting the significance of partnership between the Bank and its clients in driving long-term growth.

The Police Inspector-General (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, who was a special guest at the event, praised ADB for its development strategy and expressed the Ghana Police Service's strong dedication to building better collaborations with ADB.
