As the pressure mounts for the Prime Minister during a critical week, with one of the most highly anticipated Budgets in recent history unfolding amid rumors of plots against his leadership, MPs are questioning what they describe as Sir Keir's "new calm demeanor."

Even though Labour is stuck at 18 percent in the polls — tied with the Greens — and some members of the Cabinet are openly competing for his position, a backbencher who recently met him remarked: 'He was very calm.'

Not similar to someone carrying the burden of the world on their shoulders. Or someone who anticipates holding that weight for much longer.

The head of staff at Downing Street, Morgan McSweeney, informed MPs that "the situation can be reversed" and shared with reporters that Sir Keir would confront any challenge – a statement some MPs think was meant to motivate the Prime Minister to continue rather than "step down at the first sign of trouble."

Exclusive polling data from former Conservative deputy chairman Lord Ashcroft, set to be featured in tomorrow's Mail on Sunday, reveals that only nine percent of voters believe Sir Keir will become Prime Minister following the next election, while 30 percent support Nigel Farage.

A staggering 69 percent believe that Sir Keir's party is split.

Voters are also strongly skeptical of Chancellor Rachel Reeves' remarks from Wednesday, with 68 percent believing they will personally suffer more following the Budget and 63 percent expecting the nation to become less prosperous.

In the meantime, 61 percent of people are against Ms Reeves' proposal to remove the two-child benefit limit.

The survey also included the controversy surrounding the BBC's apology to Donald Trump following the editing of two segments from his 2021 speech.

Over a third claimed the BBC showed a Left-wing bias, while just 22 percent described it as neutral.

A distinct survey conducted by Survation for LabourList today highlighted the Prime Minister's vulnerable standing, revealing that Andy Burnham, Ed Miliband, Angela Rayner, and Wes Streeting would all prevail in a direct leadership contest against him.
