Nairobi Kenya: A Kenyan man has shared that he rudely learnt how fast one can be abandoned by their spouse when they go to jail.
In a candid interview on NTV, Oduor shared how she was jailed for 10 years, and while there, he got a culture shock that shakes him to this day.
"My wife left me when I was jailed for 10 years, and yet I used to send her money for upkeep and to keep up with the school fees of the child," said Oduor.
How did Oduor get money to send?
The man tickled many when he said that people actually used to send him money through the money scams that people conduct while in prison. While some people heard that they shared that maybe it was karma for the way he made money belonging to innocent people while in prison.
"I realised being in jail means a woman distancing herself from you, or being in locked up means a woman being abandoned by her man," he said.
According to Oduor, his wife was not the only person who did not want anything to do with him, as there were many people in the estate wher he lives who accused him of stealing even bore he stole anything.
There are those who gossiped about him, while others outrightly asked him about his jail term and then didn't want anything to do with him anymore.
