TikTok user b.a.r.i.c.k shared a video of Mavela lavishing praise on the matatu he worked for.

Mavela looked happy as he waited for passengers to board the bus dubbed Opposite, one of the most decorated buses in Kenya's public transport sector.

He claimed their competitors were jealous of their success, noting they were among the most loved crews on the road.

His sudden death occurred during the Matatu Culture event at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), an occasion meant to celebrate the Nganya industry.
