The comedian, who is widely regarded as one of Kenya's top funnymen, has had a rollercoaster year filled with highs and lows.
Earlier, his love life dominated headlines after a dramatic breakup with his baby mama, Marya Okoth at the end of 2024.
He later made news again when his short-lived relationship with Noela Toywa ended abruptly, despite showering her with lavish gifts such as land and even a helicopter ride.
However, fortunes soon turned for the funnyman after hosting a top-tier comedy event that drew some of the biggest names in the industry and a massive crowd of fans.
Which car did YY buy?
On Sunday, September 21, YY proudly announced on social media that he had acquired a sleek black Porsche Cayenne.
He shared several photos of the luxury SUV, capturing the moment he took delivery of it alongside his young daughter.
The little girl was visibly thrilled, jumping up and down in excitement as she admired the new car, calling it beautiful while waiting inside her father’s other ride, a Mercedes E-Class.
Celebrating the purchase, YY shared an inspiring message to his fans:
"German engineering, African roads. Precision meets ambition. From dreams on paper to keys in hand. Blessed beyond measure. May God take all the credit. Be inspired."
What makes the Porsche special?

According to Kimanthi, YY bought an earlier-year Cayenne, possibly a 2017 model, with mid-level specifications listing it at an average price of KSh 7,500,000.
He noted that the SUV is a perfect fit for the comedian’s status, explaining.
"The Cayenne exudes class and opulence unlike many other SUVs that celebrities often buy. It is German engineering at its best and strikes a balance between luxury and performance. For YY, that is a good fit as it shows he is an accomplished, cultured man. If he is planning on expanding his family, it is also a great family car," he said.
