Wang, one of the co-founders and former CEO of Scale, has become the youngest billionaire who built his wealth independently, with an estimated fortune of $3.6 billion following Meta's $14.3 billion investment in Scale and Wang's subsequent role in the Meta AI team.

A 28-year-old individual has consistently stood out. As of 2025, Forbes estimates his wealth to be approximately $3.6 billion. He currently holds the position of Chief AI Officer at Meta, having previously excelled in the field of data and AI infrastructure.

3. Ilya Sutskever and Others (Safe Superintelligence)

Sutskever, who previously served as chief scientist at OpenAI, established Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) in mid-2024, with the company's valuation exceeding $32 billion within a year of its creation. Supported by significant investment, SSI focuses on AI that "thinks safely."
