The main preacher of Salvation Healing Ministries, Pastor Victor Kanyari, has shared the intense sorrow he has been feeling since the passing of his former wife, gospel artist Betty Bayo.

Betty died on Monday, November 11, not long after she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
What impact did Betty Bayo's passing have on Pastor Kanyari?
Following the heartbreaking news, Pastor Kanyari has not held back in expressing his feelings.
He appeared sad at Kenyatta National Hospital on the day Betty passed away.
Later, when her body was transferred to the Kenyatta University Funeral Home, the minister became emotional, finding it difficult to cope with the loss of the mother of his children.
At a press conference on Wednesday, November 12, Kanyari discussed the reasons behind his visible emotional display.
He claimed he didn't know Betty was unwell and only found out about her illness after she died, which made the grief even more difficult to handle.
Pastor Kanyari shared his deep emotional struggles following Betty's passing, confessing that the sorrow has kept him awake at night and filled his dreams with disturbing visions.
"It's extremely painful for me. I didn't sleep at all yesterday; I had nightmares about Betty more than three times. Each time I fell asleep, I dreamed that my child was asking me where their mom was. I slept with a troubled mind," he said.
The television preacher admitted that he continues to have difficulty coming to terms with the fact that Betty is no longer here, mentioning that he occasionally convinces himself she is still alive.
"I still believe she hasn't truly passed away. When I look at her pictures, it feels like she's still here. While others may forget her, I will never forget the mother of my children, and my children will never forget her," he stated.
Kanyari additionally urged his followers to offer prayers for him and Betty's family, particularly her mother, who had a strong relationship with the late gospel artist.
